Naturalistic Patterns

Artistic Impressions of nature remain an important feature in contemporary art. This assemblage of Michael Givel’s fused glass art pieces reflect his abstract impressions of a variety of natural objects. Some of these natural objects are quite large including a giant blue cliff of ice and rugged mountain terrains. Others are much smaller such as a small section of a rocky river bottom, bog, flowers and twigs, a fallen branch, red rose, stepping stones, and a blood orange. These natural impressions are accomplished by Michael Givel in fused glass through the transformation of a variety of natural shapes, hues, and patterns into abstract embodiments of intricate forms in nature. These art pieces and their titles can be viewed in a slideshow by clicking on one of the fused glass art pieces on this page.
